Republican Senator Marsha Blackburn is on a visit to Taiwan from August 25 to 27.
China fumes over us lawmaker's visit and asked the American government to immediately stop all forms of official interactions with Taipei.
China's foreign ministry said. "Marsha Blackburn's visit to the Taiwan region "seriously violates the one-China principle".
"There is only one China in the world and Taiwan is an inalienable part of Chinese territory", he added.
The spokesman added: “We will not hesitate to oppose separatist activities and external interference for Taiwan's independence."
On the other hand, Marsha Blackburn said yesterday that China is just waiting for "an excuse to bully Taiwan".

She visited Fiji, the Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea before arriving in Taipei for talks with Taiwanese President.

Blackburn will also meet the head of Taiwan's National Security Council during her three-day visit.
