Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) is a scheme by the Government of Haryana (GoH) that provides unique identification numbers to every family in the state. PPP Haryana has a 14-character alphanumeric code known as Family ID or PPP Family ID.
The government takes citizens’ consent through a self-declaration form and uses it for data collection. The government can monitor around 54 lakhs of families with Parivar Pehchan Patra in Haryana.

Aadhar Cards have been introduced by the central government for individual identification, but there is no such facility for families. Therefore, to hold the records of the families, the government started this scheme.

The head of the family has to submit the PPP form to generate a unique identification code. The applicant has to fill up the form and submit it at any of the below-mentioned places.

- The name of the head of the family should be at the top. Similarly, add the names of the family members as per their birth on the identification card.
- After the marriage of a girl child, her name would be transferred to the PPP family id of her in-laws.
How to update Family Details on Parivar Pehchan Patra ID?
Follow these steps to upload family details on PPP Family ID.
- Go to the meraparivar.haryana.gov.in portal.
- Click on ‘Update Family Details’ or directly click here.
- Select ‘Yes’ if you have your Family Id or click ‘No’ and enter your Aadhar Number.
- Now you can update your family details on the Haryana PPP portal.
How to enroll in Parivar Pehchan Patra?
To apply for PPP Haryana, follow these steps:
- Visit the nearest SDM office, Gas Agency, Block Office or Ration Centre and submit your duly filled application form.
- The form is available on the meraparivar.haryana.gov.in portal or you can download it from above.
- Take a print-out of the form and fill in the required details such as; name, contact details, family member details, Aadhar Number etc. and submit it in the office.
- Once your registration is complete, you will get your 8-digit Family ID. It will help you to apply for various schemes in Haryana Government.

Social Pension Scheme PPP Haryana
CM Manohar Lal Khattar said that the three Social Security Pension Schemes have been integrated into the official PPP portal. These three schemes are:

The department can access the data district-wise of families, which would be helpful for other departments in preparing welfare programs.

Link your Driving licence, and birth and death certificates with the PPP Family ID card
From 1 January 2021, these government documents have to be integrated into the PPP scheme.

Previously, the state government linked Marriage Registration with Family ID. Linking birth, death, and marriage certificate would automatically update family data, as per the government website. Moreover, the government schemes have been linked with the ID, including Disability Pension, Old Age Pension and Widow Pension.
Government orders to link Parivar Pehchan Patra in Haryana school
Several private schools have already received forms for Family Id cards from the directorate of school education. In the case of government schools, the process is complicated. Furthermore, the Food Supply Department has also been contacted to verify the database of registered people with the Public Distribution System.
Every family member must submit Aadhaar numbers, a copy of their bank passbook, and their voter card. Voter cards are now optional. All government scheme participants must have their bank passbook. It is also optional to provide a permanent account number (PAN).
FAQ
You can edit your information in Parivar Pehchan Patra through two modes:
a) Self-Update Mode: To update Family ID use the “Update Family Details” tab available on the Mera Parivar Portal. After entering your Family ID, you will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP to verify your identity and proceed with the data update.
b) Assisted Mode: You can also visit your nearest CSC, SARAL Kendra or PPP
Operator to update your family details. The operator enters the family ID and edits the information on your behalf.
You can edit your information any number of times, but there are some conditions:
a) The PPP continuously verifies the family’s data through various electronic sources as well as field verification when necessary. Upon completion of such verification, the field is marked as “Verified”. It is not possible to edit fields in PPP that have already been verified.
b) The citizen can only make one change after signing and uploading the PPP document.
