Akasa Air Took First Flight From Mumbai To Ahmedabad

Akasa Air is finally in the sky on 7th August 2022 for its first flight between Mumbai to Ahemdabad. Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya M Scindia along with MoS General Vijay Kumar Singh (Retired) inaugurated the first commercial flight.

In a video conference, Scindia wished Team Akasa “Congratulations, fly high, fly safe and rule the skies!”

Ticket Bookings are open since 22nd July 2022, for its first commercial flights with an initial network in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Kochi.

Akasa Air’s airline code is QP and it offers 28 weekly flights between Mumbai and Ahmedabad from 7 August 2022. From 13 August 2022, the airline will start 28 weekly flights between Bengaluru and Kochi routes.

Investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala and aviation veterans Aditya Ghosh and Vinay Dube fund Akasa Air. It got the operator certificate from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on 7 July 2022. From 15 September 2022, flights will start between Chennai and Mumbai.

Akasa Air careers cabin crew

Eligibility to apply as cabin crew:

The candidate must be a citizen of India and should have a Valid Passport, PAN Card and Aadhar Card.
Must be 21 years of age.
Experienced candidates can apply up to the age of 39 years.
The minimum height for females should be 157 cm with proportionate weight.
The minimum height for males should be 170  cm proportionate weight.
BMI range for females at 18 – 22.
BMI range for males at 18 – 25.
Candidates must have passed their 10+2 (Class 12th) from a recognized board and must be fluent in English and Hindi.
Candidates should not have visible tattoos or marks.
Doctor (MBBS) Manager – Medical services

Executive – Accounts Payable
  • Graduate with relevant experience in accounts payable.
DGCA Approved B-737 Qualified SEP Instructor
Cabin crew with an experience of 3 years with Indian or Foreign Carriers OR
An operator who has held SEP Instructor approval with another operator from or Contracting State.
Shall be a current B-737 NG/Max SEP Instructor in an airline.
Ground Instructor (GI) /Subject Matter Expert (SME) B-737 Qualified Technical and Performance subjects
The candidate must be at least 21 years of age.
He or she must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English Language
Must be at least a Graduate with Physics and Mathematics from a recognised Board/university OR
Shall be at least an Engineering graduate in aeronautical/aerospace/electrical/electronic stream from a recognised Board/University; OR
Shall be a certified pilot/flight navigator/naval observer/flight engineer/ATCO with at least 5 years of experience; OR
Can be a GI/Flight Instructor from military/paramilitary forces; OR
Shall be a DGCA-approved instructor/SFI/TRI/DE; OR
Can be an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with an experience of 3 years in specialised training and designed courses in aviation.
Shall be a current GI/SME working with an approved operator/organisation..
First Aid Instructor
A doctor with an MBBS degree or
BSc Nursing degree and registered Nurse or
Paramedic with first aid training
DGCA Approved Crew Resource Management (CRM) Facilitator/Cabin Crew Records
Shall have current experience in commercial air transport as a flight crew member or flight attendant.
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a flight crew member or 5 years as a cabin crew member.
Successfully completed CRM Facilitator training in accordance with CAR Section 7 Series I part 8.
It is necessary to be an approved CRM instructor affiliated with an organization/operator.
